Welcome to North Davis Project Illumination
Our mission is to enhance mental health awareness and promote individual empowerment and self reliance for our youth.
North Davis Project Illumination's purpose is to host an annual event called Illumination - a free community event that focuses on what we can do daily to support and improve our mental health and well-being. Youth groups from our community teach their peers different topics that support our mental health in a fun and interactive way. A key message of Illumination is that we all have a "spark" inside of us - that thing that gives our life meaning and purpose. When our youth find their spark, nurture it, and are allowed to let it grow they have higher grades and better attendance in school, are more likely to be socially competent, volunteer more in helping others, have a sense of purpose in their life, and are less likely to experience depressive symptoms.
We are excited for Illumination 2025 and hope you will join us this September 6 at Founder's Park in Syracuse, Utah. Come explore how finding your "spark" can improve your mental health and bring purpose into your life!
We are proud to partner with Smith's Inspiring Donations Program to make a positive impact in the community one shopping trip at a time. Simply link your Smith's Rewards Card to our organization, and Smith's Inspiring Donations will donate 0.5% of every eligible purchase to North Davis Project Illumination!
